FG Orders Schools To Submit Admission List for 2024/2025 Academic Session, Threatens Sanctions Against Defaulters. The Federal Government has directed all higher institutions to submit their admission lists for the 2024/2025 academic session  immediately after matriculation . This directive is aimed at  combating fake degree racketeering  in the country. According to a memo by the Joint Admissions and  Matriculation Board  (JAMB), institutions must submit their matriculation lists to the Federal Ministry of Education no later than three months  after matriculation ceremonies . The list must be submitted through JAMB’s dedicated channel. Failure to comply with this directive will  result in severe consequences , including sanctions. The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has reportedly picked August 5 for the release of the results for candidates who sat for the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). An announcement said to have originated from  WAEC  and trending on social media said the examination body apologized for the delay in the release of results, but said the candidates would start having access to their results online as from Monday, August 5.
